I've tripped up and come across that before too. I have no idea what it's for. I can only assume it has something to do with the amount of "hits" a blog gets.
Cool, thanks Heff....I've been considering pulling a Hatch and signing up for Google's Ad-Sense, but I doubt I get enough traffic to warrant the annoyance factor. Maybe I'll put up a counter to see how many hits are coming.
