I always work on Labor Day, too.

The debate over federal government imposed holidays is always a fun one, though I tend to follow my own family traditions more than 'logically sound doctrine' when determining what holidays I celebrate, and how I choose to do so (this will be another post). "The Agitator" has a good opinion piece on "floating holidays". Despite his Fox News affiliations, he seems like a good Libertarian sort of guy, and while I don't always agree with him, I generally enjoy his column. You can see his blogger here.
